Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II Lens to be Announced on April 27th

Sony will have a press event at NAB Show 2022 on April 24 at 9am PDT time, but it seems that the new product announcement will take place on April 27th instead of April 24th. The announcement will be on April 27 at 16:00 Berlin time. And it is almost confirmed that the Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II lens will be announced on that day.

Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II Lens Rumored Specs:

  • it’s extremely sharp
  • The design will just like the current 70-200mm F2.8 GM II.
  • it’s the lightest 24-70mm f/2.8 on the market
  • it’s also smaller than the previous version
  • This lens will be smaller, lighter and improved in any aspect compared to the “older” GM lens
