Sony ZV-E10 II and FE 85mm f/1.4 GM II Lens Coming in May/June 2024
Sony enthusiasts have much to anticipate as the company gears up for a series of product announcements in the coming months. The imminent release of the Sony FE 16-25mm F2.8 lens in mid-April is just the beginning. Following closely behind, the Sony ZV-E10 II and the highly anticipated FE 85mm F1.4 GM II are slated for unveiling in May or June of 2024.
Adding to the excitement, speculation surrounds the potential announcement of the FE 24-70mm F2.0, with its release window spanning from April to June. Sony’s roadmap suggests a flurry of new releases, promising an array of options for photographers and videographers alike.
Personally, my curiosity is piqued by the specifications of the FE 85mm F1.4 GM II and the ZV-E10 II. Will they incorporate cutting-edge features like subject detection and the BIONZ XR processor seen in the a6700? Or will they represent incremental upgrades over their predecessors? Particularly intriguing would be the inclusion of object detection at a competitive price point, offering enthusiasts a compelling reason to upgrade their gear. As the launch date draws near, anticipation continues to build within the Sony community for what promises to be an exciting series of announcements.
