In October Sony officially announced the development of Sony FE 400mm f/2.8 GM Super-Telephoto Full-Frame E-mount Lens along with Sony a7R III mirrorless camera and FE 24-105mm f/4 G OSS lens.

This Sony FE 400mm f/2.8 GM Lens will be officially announced in Summer 2018 and according to B&H, this Sony FE 400mm f/2.8 GM lens will be released / start shipping in September 2018.
