Sony FE 200-600mm Super Telephoto Zoom Lens on the Way!

The Current Sony FE 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 GM OSS Lens

Sony is allegedly working on a new FE 200-600mm Super Telephoto Zoom Lens for Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. Currently, Sony has only one native super telephoto zoom lens: Sony FE 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 GM OSS Lens ($2,498). Sony users can also use third-part super telephoto zoom lenses (with lens adapter) like the Sigma 150-600mm Sports lens or Tamron SP 150-600mm G2 lens. So if the rumor turns out to be true, this new Sony FE 200-600mm lens will be an ideal lens for sports photographers and wildlife shooters.

Reminder: Alongside the Sony a7R III and FE 24-105mm f/4 G OSS lens, Sony also announced the development of Sony FE 400mm f/2.8 GM Super-Telephoto Full-Frame E-mount Lens. This Sony FE 400mm f/2.8 GM lens will be a pretty lens for sports and wildlife shooters, it will be officially announced in Summer 2018.
