Sony a7S III Firmware Update With S-Cinetone Coming Soon

Sony will soon release a new firmware update for Sony a7S III mirrorless camera to add the S-Cinetone and Steady Shot in S&Q Shooting Modes (120fps and 100fps).

  • Adds the PP11: S-Cinetone picture profile preset.
  • Adds support for setting Steady Shot to Active during recording movie with S&Q Frame Rate * [Active] cannot be selected if [S&Q Frame Rate] is set to [120fps]/[100fps] or higher.
  • Improves the overall stability of the camera
