So, it seems that the long-waited Sony a7 III mirrorless camera will probably be announced in 2018 along with one or two new FE lenses, to beat the Canon EOS 6D Mark II ($1,999) DSLR camera.

Speaking of specifications, the Sony a7 III mirrorless camera is rumored to feature a new 24MP full frame sensor, the exact same Sony a9 ($4,498) autofocus system without the 20fps frame rate, the Sony a9 Joystick control, Touch Screen and 4K video recording.
