In October 2017 Sony officially announced the development of Sony FE 400mm f/2.8 GM Super-Telephoto Full-Frame E-mount Lens along with Sony a7R III mirrorless camera and FE 24-105mm f/4 G OSS lens. And according to B&H, this Sony FE 400mm f/2.8 GM lens will be released in September 2018.
